Once again taking the market by storm, Capsoft's recently launched free forms site - www.capform.co.uk - has received over a thousand registrations within the first eight weeks.
The Edinburgh based company launched the website in November 2005, after a direct request from customers to fill an emerging market gap. Good news spreads fast, and the site has quickly become an established port of call for professionals seeking quick, easy and, most importantly, free access to a plethora of government forms which are integral to the workings of the legal and business sectors.
In the site's busiest working day to date, over 200 forms and form packs were downloaded from users across the UK. Capsoft has utilised the world renowned HotDocs software to stock www.capform.co.uk with over 1,000 useful government forms, meaning that registered users can access them in one place, complete them on their PCs and pay nothing for the privilege.
Russell Shepherd, Managing Director of Capsoft, is no stranger to providing free government forms. He sold his previous venture, www.everyform.net to Lexis Nexis Butterworths in 2001. In 2005, Lexis closed the free service and the market responded by turning to Capsoft, resulting in the launch of the Capform site.
Shepherd said: "With the benefits of previous experience, know-how and ability Capsoft was quickly able to respond to customer demand by pulling together an online library of free forms that users can complete on screen in the easy-to-use HotDocs format."
He continued: "Due to the dialogue with existing Capsoft customers, we were aware that demand was there for this type of service. However, the sheer volume of uptake in such a short timescale has exceeded all expectations - this site is going from strength to strength."
As the many registered users have realised, the format of Capform is simple: register, download HotDocs software free of charge and install as many forms from the library as needed - also free of charge. Instead of spending valuable time trawling the internet for the required forms, all of which may be in different formats, Capform allows you to go to one centralised library to download the forms using the same application.
Shepherd concluded: "Capsoft's expertise and flexibility to develop new ideas fast is a strong basis for the continued rise of Capform - and in this market the sky's the limit."
