More than 1,000 commonly used government forms are now gathered together and made freely available on one website (wwww.capform.co.uk). Aimed at the legal and business sectors, the forms hail from public bodies including Companies House, the Court Service, the Land Registry, Revenue & Customs, the Insolvency Service and the Scottish Court Service. Already a popular resource for lawyers, one added benefit of this service is that forms can be completed online, ready for e-mailing or printing. More significantly, users who complete particular forms regularly can download them (in the HotDocs document automation format - www.capsoft.co.uk) for frequent re-use. Looking ahead, online form-completion will soon become the standard, paperless way of submitting information to government departments and agencies.
